News from the March 9th Meeting:
· Jane Applin gave a presentation and Onsted Kiwanis is sponsoring an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, April 7th at the American Legion, 333 Conner St., Onsted, MI 49265. We have the people to help unload truck and set-up at 9:30 am and tear down and put back in the truck at 6pm. Some assistance in the canteen area to help pass out cookies and juice is still needed. Might the Key Club be able to assist between the hours of noon and 6 pm. 1 or 2 hour shifts of 2 or 3 people is ideal. If someone could let me know if and what might be possible we can try to fill in or let Red Cross know what we have.
· Jennifer Marlatt gave a K-Kids or maybe more accurately (K to K2) presentation this morning and 2 bicycles (1 boys & 1 girls) were approved (up to $150) for purchase and re-imbursement by the Onsted Kiwanis Club. Robert Wright volunteered to represent Onsted Kiwanis for the presentation of the bikes.
· The Taco Dinner netted $461.00 and the 50/50 tickets netted $443.00 towards the 5th Grade Scholarship Fund. Individual donations towards the 5th Grade Scholarship Fund are being accepted. I need to find out when the cutoff point is. Did Matt or Mark receive copies of the donation letter for the website an email mailing?
· Still looking for donations for the Mott Shower for next Wednesday's presentation by Dan Fisher. Onsted Kiwanis approved the donation of $200 in gift cards.
